I picked out my favorite pics that I took of Ashley at our sleep-over at Addies. We went to the elementary school, and had lots of fun. The kids played while Addie and I took pictures. My kind of day! LOL!! I think my kids are finally used to stopping every 5 minutes to pose. I'll have to post some of the funny ones of Dylan from a few weekends ago. That kid's poses are a riot!! I only photo-shopped 1 of Ash's pics this time. Sometimes you just want regular ole pics of the kids! She's cute enough on her own! :P Oh, I'm also throwing in a flower pic that I forgot to include last time. It was kind of a neat one. Check out the white pic of Ashley. That isn't photo-shopped...that effect I got by over-exposing the shot. I think it turned out really cool. :)

I just love Spring time!! It has always been my favorite time of year. Picture taking is so much more fun with all the new life out!! I don't think I could ever get tired of taking pics of flowers. LOL!! Now I just need to find some baby animals!! Anyone got a farm I can come hang out at?? :P I went and stayed the night at Addie's house on Friday, and we went on a photo field trip! LOL!! I got some cute pics of Ash, but for now I'm just posting my flower ones. I had sooo much fun in post processing, if you can't tell! Hey! That's how I roll! :D See if you can spot the bees in 2 of my cherry blossom pics. :)

Nails & Links!

I had my nails done yesterday, and Bentlee came with me. Her mom owns the shop, so she knows her way around. LOL! She loves to get her nails painted too! Yesterday after I was done, she got hers painted. She said she wanted to be just like Billie, and surprise me. The following picture is what we ended up with!! How cute is that?! That kid is a doll!!

When I entered the photo contest, I needed a Flickr account for my entry. Since I have one now, I decided to really use it!! I will be posting pics in there whenever I can. The pics in there now have mostly been on the blog, with a few exceptions. I will put the majority of my photos in there, saving the blog for photos with stories. :) Oh!! Ted made a Flickr account too!! He was bitten by the photography bug along with his wife! :P His pics are really great, because he doesn't edit them. That's our big difference. He's into the 'natural' photo thing.....not me!! LOL!! I don't edit them too harshly.....just boost colors, or take color away...or add grunge...I don't photoshop a shark in the background or anything! LOL!! :P Any-wahoo, here are our links! :D

Easter pics!

I hope everyone had a good Easter! We spent the day with family, and had a great time. We started out at church with my dad, and ended up at Grandma's house. It wouldn't be a holiday without hanging out at Grams! My kids love hanging out with all the cousins. I have to admit, I love it too. LOL! We ended up having a mini egg hunt in the living room, it was raining too hard to go outside. :( All the kids still had fun though. The oldest cousin Alyssa is having a baby, so that was fun to finally see her tummy. :) I took a super cute pic, posted below. I didn't get tons of pictures, but was happy with what I did get. I got a chance to use my new lens! It's different than my other two, so it was good practice for me. I put it on, and refused to switch to my others. I figure that's the only way to learn. Sink or swim!! LOL!!

I entered a contest over at Pioneer Woman's photography blog. HERE She sets a photography assignment that people can enter for 4 days. Each day she picks like 20 pics to be that days semi-finalists. On day 5 she picks the finalists from those 4 days worth of winners. Day six she announces the winner. She gives out great prizes!! The competition is pretty fierce. I don't know how she goes through all those entries!! Well, guess what?!? MY PICTURE WAS ONE PICKED FOR DAY 3!!! OMG!! OMG!! I am so excited, and honored!! My bff Addie sent me an IM this morning saying I had been picked. I thought she was playing an April Fools joke on me!! LOL!! Well, the jokes on me....she was telling the truth! I swear I had chest pains for 2 hours! Taking photographs is my love, and to have someone like what I do means so much to me. I don't think I'll come down from this high for some time!! :)

I have been trying to take pictures every chance I get. I have really gotten some fun ones lately. Spring is the best time to find animals to snap a shot of! You know me, I could take animal pics all day!! LOL!! The ones I am about to post are just a hodge-podge of things. Most of them have been edited, that's where the fun comes in!! I have just as much fun turning my pics into art as I do taking them! Such a goob, I know!! LOL!! :P I hope you enjoy.

Basketball...

Hello! I'm back!! I missed ya! :D Now, finally those bball pics!!

This year was the first year that Dylan played basketball. Going in, he was super duper nervous! He was the only 6th grader that had never played before, so he was worried about looking like an idiot. That turned out to not be the case!! My baby did amazing!! Every week he improved leaps & bounds!! There was such a huge difference from the first week, until the last! It was like an entirely different kid! I can't wait for next season! Dylan plans on playing from here on out. He really loves it! Ted and I are so very proud of him. He really had to fight some tough nerves to sign up, and he did it!! He had such an amazing time, and now he signed up for baseball....another sport he has never played!! I love it!! My baby's growing up, and maturing!! It makes a mommy's heart swell! :D

I thought I would post some updated pics of my family. It seems like my kids are just growing way too darn fast, and Ted & I are getting *cough* old *cough*!!

Dylan is half way through 6th grade. I can't believe it! Junior High in 6 months!! Ahhhh!!!! He's a good boy though! I have no worries! :D We just got his mid-term progress reports, and he has all A's with 2 B's....not too shabby!! He is just finishing up his first year of basketball. It has been amazing!! He loves it so much! I wish it could go on for another 6 months!! I really hope he decides to play next year, but I'm sure he will! ;) He really plays very well for never having done it before. I can't wait to see what his future holds.

My little Ashley is in 2nd grade, with 3rd grade math & reading. She does really well in the higher classes. The only hard part is missing out on things with her own classmates. I guess it's just a sacrifice for advancement. I just feel bad for her sometimes. Next year she will be able to play county rec sports, which will be exciting. She is planning on doing volleyball and basketball, I can't wait!!

Ted and I have been married for almost 14 years....wow!! Time really does fly! I love him more than ever, so I guess it's going well! :) He still works for the same place he's been at for 12 years, and it's going great. God has really blessed us!

Anyway, that's my little 'catch up' post! LOL!! Look for pics in the next few days of Dylan's basketball season!! TTFN!! :)

Hello!! Long time, no see! :D I have decided to start blogging again. Well, I will give it a try! LOL! I got a new camera, and I am anxious to start posting pics again! For those of you that know me, I like to pretend I am a photographer!! Truth is, I just love taking pictures! I am definitely an amateur, not that great at all. I have just stepped into the world of Digital SLR photography, so lets hope I learn a lot! I like to take pics of just about anything, so no telling what will end up on the blog! LOL!!

Yesterday, my husband and I ran over to Port Orford (Oregon Coast) for lunch. Yes, I said for lunch. What?!? Doesn't everyone drive 3 hours for lunch? :D We like to go for drives to get a chance to spend time with each other. We are both road trip people, and both of us bring our cameras for repeated stop & clicks! So, here are some of my shots from yesterday. I hope you enjoy. :)

Crater Lake!

The fam and I decided to take a trip to Crater Lake a couple of weeks ago. It was a fun, weird, scary trip! LOL! We have this GPS system for the car, and we decided to give it a go. It took us straight from Canyonville to Crater Lake. Yep, straight across the map! Well, some of those roads are not meant for cars! It may have been 1/3 of the mileage, but it took twice as long! At times I was scared we would be trapped in the woods! LOL! My husband was as cool as a cucumber. He thought my fear was quite ridiculous! :D Anyway, we made it safe and sound! The kids had never been there before. Ted and I went once before, about 11 years ago. I couldn't believe how snowy it still was! You would have thought it was December, not June! LOL! I took tons of pics, and tried to narrow it down to a few. I still have too many, but oh well! You will have to deal! :P

Ted got some cute pics of the kiddos. Ted squatted down to take their pic, and then they squatted down too. What a bunch of nerds!! LOL!!

Dylan took a pic of Ted, but we never did get a pic of me. We tried to take a group self-portrait. That failed miserably!! Here are 2 of the attempts...too funny!! LOL!!

Last, but not least....we have pics of Crater Lake! LOL! Only a couple, I filled the post with pics of people! :P Look how high the snow is on the side of the road!! Holy cow!!

As you can probably tell, it is officially swimming weather!! We have had the pool ready since the last week in May. Not only have my babies been swimming, but so have many of their friends!! It has been so much fun! Now, today was a special day. As many of you know, I have been watching Bentlee since she was a month old. (Holy Cow!! Almost 3 years already!!) We had our pool before she came around. I have never been able to get that child to swim in the pool. She has gotten in about 3 times. Each time was a nightmare! Screaming, scratching, you name it! Poor little booger was terrified!! This Spring she started commenting on getting in the big pool. I was skeptical! LOL!! Well, today we tried it!! The first 10 minutes were reminiscent of years past, but wait!! My husband, B's favorite Ted, was able to get her to have fun! I couldn't believe it. She actually laughed and played for over an hour!! It was so cute! She kept saying "I play in pool with Ashy & Bubba!!". So cute!! I managed to snap a couple of pics of the kiddos. I hope you enjoy her happy little face as much as we did!! :)

Yes, I am a terrible blogger! I have taken a little hiatus from spending time on my computer. Seems silly, I know. For years I have spent hours a day on it, and that just got old. To make a long story short, I now miss it. My New Year's resolution is to be more loyal to my blog. I have a bunch of holiday pics to update with, but that will be my next post. Monkey time!

Yep, I am raising a monkey. She loves to spend all day up in the tree. She even reads books up there. It's very cute. I never really was a tree-climber. She seems so at peace while at the top. It's like the world stands still for her. I could watch her for hours. She is everything I always wanted to be. I think I prayed her into existence. It's like God took my exact wish list & whipped her up! Oh, guess what! I had a meeting today with her teacher. They want to bump her up to the next grade for math. She already goes for reading, and now they want to add math. They had to get my permission to move her, it's not the standard procedure. I am so proud. Both of my children are at the top of their classes, and that just makes my heart swell. I never wanted them to struggle. My little brainiacs!! I love it!! :D

So...it's almost my birthday. I don't know why I let this bug me, but I do. Last year I turned 30...it was hard. 31 is going to be harder. I don't feel 31! I remember when my mom was my age...she seemed so much older. I remember knowing women who had a hard time with their ages, I used to think it was silly. 'How absurd to be sad about a number!' Nope, not so darn silly now! I don't think I would mind 31 if I didn't feel so fat & frumpy. If I felt fabulous, then I would make my age fabulous! I guess I have just been in a funk lately. I don't want my birthday! LOL! There isn't even any presents I would want! Now that is sad! I wouldn't mind getting away with Ted for a weekend. That would be a good gift. I miss him. I do see him everyday, but its just normal routine. I miss getting to sit down and have a meaningful conversation. Ah well, such is life. We will get to soon enough! :)

If you really must buy me a present...if you really can't say no...then I have an idea! You really wouldn't even need to wrap it! It's just a little beauty I have been eyeballing for about a year. Her name is Trixie, and she means business. She is my dream....and I want her! LOL!!

I have been a HUGE Duck football fan for as long as I can remember. The Ducks are from the University of Oregon. We have been lucky enough to catch a few home games the last few seasons. It is such a great family-fun day. I love when we get to do things like that together. It's one of the things you know that your kids will remember forever. We have only been to one, so far, this season. I hope we get to at least one more. I could never get tired of it! I need my own season tickets, darn it! LOL!

Someday I hope to take a photography class. I know I would love it! My pictures aren't too bad, and I take a million. On Dylan's birthday, I took some pics of my neice Aylssa in the yard. Now that Fall is here, I am missing some things about Summer. Fall is definitely my favorite season, I just miss little things. For one, swimming! Well, watching my kids swim! :D We went to the river a couple of times this year. The kids used the pool more than anything. The river is nice, because then I get to take pictures. That's my fun time! :D I happened to get a really fabulous pic of Ted on one of our trips. Man oh man, is he ever handsome!! I am such a lucky girl! It's nice when you feel like you are married to the handsomest man on the planet. No complaints! ;)

~OUR DAY AT THE BEACH~

The kids and I went over to Bandon with Addie & Gabe the day after Dylan's birthday. Once again, I didn't get around to posting pics! LOL!! It was such a fun day. The sky was clear, the sun was out, & it was fairly warm! I don't think I have ever been on the Oregon Coast on a prettier day...and that's saying a lot! The kids just played hard, and us ladies just gabbed. :) My babies went in water so deep! It scared the bejeebers out of me! Not Ash so much, but Dylan for sure! Little pooper! Anyway, not much else to say about it. We all had a blast! Now, on to the pics!! :P

I know...I'm the 'World's Crappiest Blogger'. I think I need an award. LOL!! We have just been trying to fall back into the routine of school. Everything is going great. We had Open House last night, and my kids are doing awesome. I love having smart babies! :) A lot of fun little days have passed over the last 6 weeks that I haven't got around to blogging. I still want to put them up! :P So, I am going to have a couple of days of catch up this week. Pictures, pictures, and more pictures! :P It will be nice to show those off!

Let's start with Grandma GG's birthday! We celebrated Gram's birthday down at their house. Her three girl's and their kids...with their kids were there! LOL!! I love when we all get together. My cousin Angie and I are very close. I am an only child, and I have adopted her as my sister! :P It's always been that way. We are 5 years apart, and have been close since the day I was born. It's kinda neat, because her youngest & my youngest are 5 years apart too. They look like little Mini-Us!! LOL!! I am excited to have the younger one...that way we get all the hand-down clothes! LOL!

First Day of School

So the kids went back to school on Tuesday. Ash in 1st grade, and Dyl in 5th. I had a really hard time leaving Ashley. She went to Kindergarten last year, but it was only for half the day. This is the first time she has been away all day like that. I have to admit, I got misty eyed. It's just so hard to believe that my baby is so old.

Speaking of old...Dylan is in 5th grade!!! I remember 5th grade like it was yesterday! It's so weird, but I felt sooo much older at 10 than Dylan seems to be. I think, in a sense, I was. He is still pretty young at heart. Which is a good thing. I want my children to be a little naive & young. I would much rather have that, than kids that grow up waaay too fast, and know waaay too much. Some of the kids you see around town scare the crap out of me. 11-12 year olds shouldn't live like 18-19 year olds. Unfortunately, a lot do.

Ash is really loving 1st grade. I knew she would be fabulous. She is so smart & really stands out in her class. I know I am her mom, but the teachers tell me that. LOL! Oh! Dylan starts band this year! He is sooo excited! He is going to be a drummer. His snare drum kit arrives on Monday. We can't wait! I think this will be really good for Dylan. He isn't into sports much, but has always loved music. Even at a very young age, he was musical. I always knew he would go in this direction. I am glad he picked drums too. I think that is an instrument that boys want to play all through school. Others seem to get dropped after 6th grade.

Isn't it funny how you can see things in your children even when they are still babies & toddlers? I knew Dylan would gravitate towards music, and Ash is an artist. Always has been, always will be. I love that my children are creative. That is the one thing I always wanted to be...more creative. I prayed that my children would have the 'artsy-fartsy' gene that I never had. I am so thankful that the Lord listened. Both my babies make me so proud at how they use their imaginations. I hope they never lose that.

Happy Birthday Dylan!!

I can't believe my baby boy is turning 10. He is just growing up so fast. Dylan has turned into such a great young man. He is super smart, always kind, uber handsome, & I wouldn't change one thing about him!! I am so proud of him!

A little history: I have an incompetent cervix, and had already lost one son. I went into labor with Dylan at 22 weeks....waaay too early. I was rushed to a bigger hospital via ambulance. I have never traveled 90 miles so fast! LOL!! I had to have emergency surgery, and have my cervix sewn shut. I was so far into labor, that the bag of amniotic fluid was protruding. The doctor had to push it back in....ever so carefully. Let's be honest, that was my first miracle right there. I was then placed in a bed with the feet risen up high. Yep, I had to basically be upside down. I couldn't lay on my back either. I had to be on one side or the other....always. I wasn't allowed to get upright, not even for a minute. As you can imagine, going potty was quite fun. I had a catheter most of the time. Eating, that's another story. It's an odd feeling when people have to sponge bathe you. You truly run out of all modesty. I had at least 3 IVs at a time. I had to have my blood taken every 3 hours. When they have to start taking it from the top of your feet...you know its bad. I got pain meds every couple of hours. All in all, I was in full labor for 13 days. I got to where I just stared at the wall for hours at a time. It was started to take it's toll mentally. The doctor was getting concerned that my safety & health was coming into jeopardy. The labor wouldn't stop. That little stinker wasn't giving up. They finally came to the conclusion that my cervical stitches needed to be removed, and nature needed to take it's course. I was 24 weeks along, that's 16 weeks early. It was a huge risk, but there wasn't any other choice. He came into the world at 9:55 on a Friday morning, weighing in at 1lb 15oz. In the first week he lost down to 1lb 6oz!! It's hard to believe that today he is 5ft tall, & weighs over 80lbs!! Holy Cow!! That's a lot of growing!

Every single day of the last 10 years, I have thanked God for my special miracle! He is a miracle in every sense of the word. When he was born, they didn't give me a lot of hope for his future. They told me that IF he lived, he would probably be very physically & mentally challenged. At one point they even discussed blindness and going deaf. Well, thank God that I don't look to man for my hope. We immediately turned it over to prayer. I think we had every church in Southern Oregon praying for my baby. I run in to people all the time that know us from the prayer chains, and can't believe Dylan has come so far. As for all those challenges they mentioned....he is one of top in his class academically...he is one of the tallest, strong & lean...he hears perfectly, & only slightly near-sighted. All in all....my perfect Angel.

I gathered up some pictures that show what he was like for the first 123 days of his life, spent in the hospital. Some of them aren't great, but you will get the idea. :)

Anniversary...

First, sorry for the lapse in posts. I was on a little 'computer vacation'. Sometimes I just get sick of doing the 'computer thing' 7 days a week, 365 days a year. LOL!! The first week Ted was on vacation, and the next week my niece came to stay with us. It has just been awesome spending time with the family. Ted is off again this week, so I may not post a lot then either. LOL!! I have tons of pics of tons of things that have happened. One day at a time I guess. :P

Now, back to the big day! Today is my 12th anniversary. I have been with Ted for about 17 years total. Its kinda hard to believe since I will only be 31 in October. Yep, you did the math right.....I was 14!!! He is my one & only love of my life. First Kiss and all!! LOL!! I truly can not imagine life without him. We grew up together, and hope to grow old together. I know its not the norm for people to marry their first love....but if you get it right the first time, why move on? LOL! The cool thing....we still really like each other! He is my very best friend & we share everything. I am very blessed to have such a fabulous man in my life. I thank God for him everyday. He is hard working, loving, kind to all, & hotter than hot!! LOL!!!

So, to my wonderful husband...

Today is National Fort Day at our house! I encourage you to celebrate. It's great fun!! The girls and I built this little gem right in the living room. It's very contemporary & spacious. The decorator decided to go with the 'fluorescent' theme. I think it all came together nicely. The owners are already wanting to move or remodel. Never satisfied! LOL!!

New fishies in the house!! Woot woot!! Seriously, I need help naming my new married fish. I have several choices to choose from, but I am still undecided! LOL! I love my fish. Yes, my fish. No one else in the house really cares about them. I only have a little 10 gallon tank. My husband wanted to 'test' me first. LOL!! If I take care of it & don't let it stink, he will buy me a big one. I swear, am I not an adult too?? LOL!! We now have 7 fish total. I have perfect names for all of them but my new 'couple'. We bought a male & a female in hopes of babies. :D I took some pictures to help you in the naming game. LOL!

Bentlee's Birthday!

Saturday was Miss Bentlee's 2nd birthday. I can't believe she is 2 already!! Bentlee is the little girl that I take care of during the week. I have had her since she was 5 weeks old. Two years have just flown by! She has really become part of the family. Ted & I love her like our own! The party really turned out great. It was at a little park, and the kids played hard! I am disappointed at the pictures we got though. We didn't get that many good ones. I didn't bring my big camera, and I really should have. The pictures below are just a nice assortment of snap shots. My 2 kids are in a couple too. Getting the 3 of them together, and still, is difficult sometimes! LOL!! Microsoft, Grrrrrrr!!

Microsoft stinks! Sometimes I feel like I need to start over and get a Mac! I have not been able to get online for a few days. I finally got in touch with tech support at my internet provider, and they informed me what was wrong. It seems as though hundreds of thousands of people who use Zone Alarm firewalls were unable to get online. One of Microsoft's latest XP fixes broke our Zone Alarm security! Your computer can not get online if your Z.A. is on!! They still don't know how to fix it! I had to turn off my Z.A. & switch back to Windows firewall. I am not happy. Windows firewall sucks, that's why the Z.A. is needed in the first place!! Now I am totally opened up to virus problems! I know the Z.A. people will get it fixed soon. It's just frustrating that the Microsoft people are always doing crap like this. You just don't hear about the Apple folks making life hard on the Mac dudes!!

I have lots to update about. Hopefully I will get to it tonight or tomorrow morning. Stay tuned!! :P

Kitty #4 has returned. On the one hand, I am glad it's safe. On the other hand, I DON'T WANT ANY MORE KITTIES!! We don't have pets, and I like it that way. It's just one more baby to find a home for. I hope it happens soon. As you can tell from my posts lately, the kitties are taking over my life....and I want it back! They are cute, but that is wearing off! LOL!! So, please say a prayer that I will find them a home very soon...and that we don't get fleas! LOL!!

Seriously! About 8 hours of each day is devoted to a gruesome cage match! These kitties loooove to wrestle with each other. If one of them is trying to go potty, the others jump on its back. If one is asleep, again with the back jumping! They are crazy! No, it's pretty darn cute. It does get a little old after awhile. I bought them a little feather/ball/hangy thing & the noise of that bell ringing all day is annoying! I just hope to find them a home soon. Very soon. LOL!!

Stray Kitties!

We are officially the Feline County General Hospital. Mama kitties just come here to drop off their babies! So, this weekend I was 'kitty nurse'. We found 3, but my husband thinks there was 4. We have yet to find #4 and it is breaking my heart. I am not giving up though! They feel so much better now that they have been bathed, fed, & cuddled. It's amazing how calm they got after about 2 minutes. I would have assumed wild kitties would be meaner than mean. LOL! There are 2 orange males...very fluffy (insert awwww), and 1 calico female. I am going to keep them for 1-2 weeks and then off to new homes! I have already had to explain to Ashley that we are foster parents...just temporary until the adoptive parents come along. I explained how important foster parents are. She isn't buying it. LOL! I do have to admit, they are stinking cute! They already go potty in the tiny little litter box! (another awww) So tiny, and so smart! :D

***I have been asked about the knife, let me explain. Well, my Dad sometimes thinks I am his son. He bought the knife and gave it to me. When he did this, I said "What am I suppose to do with it, put it in my purse??". I threw it in there to be silly. Then I forgot about it. About a month later, I remembered it was in there when I needed to cut open a package from the post office. After that, I used it several more times to open things from the store, cut loose strings off clothes, and so on. I figured it was pretty handy, so I just kept it in there. LOL!

On Saturday Mom came down with her friend Robert & his two girls. The girls wanted to come over and go swimming with Ashley. They are 5 year old twins, and super cute! They really haven't been swimming much in their life, and they had a blast! We couldn't keep the 3 of them out of the pool. It was very good for Ash. She never has anyone to play with. Her brother will play with her for about 10 minutes, then he's done. You know how older brothers are....mean. LOL! She was so sad when they left, she wanted them to stay. The money spent on that pool was the best money I have ever spent. It keeps my kiddos busy all summer! I did manage to snap a few pics of their excited little faces. LOL!

Last night the kiddos and I decided to go to Moms for dinner. She lives about 20 miles away. You take the freeway 95% of the way. I am driving along and BAM!! I get pulled over!! No, seriously...pulled over by the Fuzz. I don't get pulled over. Not me. That's Ted's department. Not only did I get pulled over, I got a ticket!! A $242 ticket!! Now I have to give all my money to The Man.

I didn't even think to talk it out with him. All my blood rushed to my head, and I just kept trying not to cry. I wanted to play it cool in front of my kids. They seemed pretty nervous. The dialog between them was pretty funny. It went something like this: Ashley, "Bubba, how much is it gonna be...like $1000?". Dylan, "No way. It's gonna be waaaay more than $1000". Ashley, "What are we gonna do? Daddy only makes $60 a year!". Dylan, "I don't know, but Dad is gonna be mad.". Ashley, "What if she gets arrested?". Dylan, "I don't think she will." I ended that conversation with "Your Dad isn't going to be mad. He won't say anything. He will be laughing too hysterically to speak."

So, my 11 year perfect record is shot. Straight down the toilet it went. I hadn't been pulled over since I was 19 and I liked it! :( Now I am just a 'law breaker nancy'. I guess that will teach me to slow down and pay more attention. LOL! Damn it! :P

side note: my peeps don't think this layout suits me at all...and I agree. It's pretty, but not really 'me'. I will be making a new one today. It takes me a bit, so look for the change this afternoon. For those of you that are new to my blog....I change layouts a lot. LOL! I don't ever have anything for too long. :D

Father's Day

We had a pretty lazy Father's Day. My husband works a lot, and he just wanted to rest. The kids & I figured it was his day, his choice. :) We did take the kids to the park for an hour or so, and that was super peaceful. The sky was clear. The grass was green. The temp was perfect. It was an all around great park day! The kiddos took full advantage of the grassy hill. It was 'rolling races' all around! LOL!!

Seriously...it's gone! I am a lunatic! LOL! When I was 11-13ish, I was obsessed with New Kids on the Block. Yes, I was one of those. I had my walls plastered with posters. I bought every magazine. I owned all the CDs. I even had little pins & patches that said "I love Joey". LOL!! Well, they have gotten together for a reunion album & tour. Now, when I first saw this on TV, I just laughed. Then I saw them on the Today show. Hundreds of chubby women in their 30's squealing like little girls! I thought it was ridiculous! Then I started watching them sing. OMG! I felt all giggly! Before I knew it, I was sitting on the edge of my ottoman right in front of the TV!! I can't help it! When their new video is on TV, I get a perma-grin and have to turn it up! I have reverted to a 12 year old girl!! It's like I am in a time warp! It's out of my hands! I have tried not to smile. I have tried not to love it. It's too big for me to stop! I still LOVE New Kids on the Block!! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!! (that's the sound of insane laughter)

Snaaaaaakes!!! Aaaaaaa!!! Ok, ok...one snake. Still! Yuck! My husband & son are icky icky boys. They found a HUGE garter snake in the yard last night. Not really huge in snake standards, but huge for a garter snake. Not only was it big, it was super duper aggressive. It kept striking & biting. He thought he was a tough little sucker. I was totally freaked out that it kept biting Ted's hand. He said it doesn't hurt. He says their little teeth feel similar to a cat's tongue. I don't care how much it doesn't hurt, it's freakin creepy! My son thinks he is the next Crocodile Hunter. If he sees a snake/toad/frog he will dive across the yard to catch it. It grosses me the heck out!! I don't mind the frogs, they are kinda cute. Snakes are a whole different ball game! They give me the creeps! I will probably have snake nightmares for a month! LOL!! My boys played with the snake for about 5 minutes, then they let it go. No creepy snakes were harmed in the taking of these photos! LOL!!

I hate waking up on Monday morning. I think I hit snooze 5-6 times this morning. LOL!! How was everyone's weekend? We didn't do much of anything. Saturday I went and hung out with Mom for a bit, and Sunday we did absolutely nothing! It was kind of nice. I think we all needed the rest. I was glad to get my little Miss Bentlee back this morning. I miss her over the weekends. I did some house cleaning yesterday, and I saved my bathroom for today. I knew I would be in there all day with Bentlee, so now I have something to keep me busy! LOL! She is in the middle of potty training, and goes to the bathroom every 10 minutes. We have to invent things to keep us busy in there. :) She is doing so good though! She probably only has one accident a day! Last week I only had one poopy diaper! Wooo!! She is soooo proud of herself. Just look at that face! Awww!!

Summer Vacation!

The kiddos are officially home! I have waited for this for 3 weeks. I was starting to really miss them. It gets so lonely without them to talk to. Or so I thought. This morning I woke up to screaming & arguing. It is now lunch time, and it really hasn't let up. They will go back and forth over the stupidest things. I really don't know if I will make it for the next 90 days. Insanity may just settle in. I can remember watching movies with siblings screaming over things like "She's looking at me!" "Quit touching me!" "Their breathing my air!" "Today is my day to sit on the couch!". I am an only child, so I used to think that was ridiculous. No way people actually argue over such lame things. Boy oh boy was I dead wrong!! So, if I don't make it....know that I loved you all. Please come and visit me at the psych ward. I like Hershey Kisses and my favorite flowers are lilies. Come prepared! LOL!!

Memorial Weekend

Hello! Sorry for the long delay in posts. I have been doing the 'migraine' thing, so I tend to stay off the computer during those times. I do give my apologies. Thanks for not sending out hate mail. LOL! I am back feeling the 'blogger' bug...you better watch out! Usually when that happens I change my layout....you will just have to deal with it. LOL!! Think of it as my very own internet 'barbie'...dress & re-dress! :D

Ok, back to the important stuff! This Memorial weekend was kind of whack. We didn't really do anything. On Saturday we had some crazy weather. It was a nice combo of rain/hail/wind/thunder/lightning. It was actually pretty fun. We just hung out outside and enjoyed it. Sunday we did nothing...nada...zilch. It was just a nice day to relax and catch up on some rest. On Monday we went to the fish ladder. I think its a fish ladder. LOL. I know that's what it is, but I don't know if people call it that. LOL!! Anyway, we got to see the huge salmon running. There were a few steelhead, but mostly salmon. Sometimes I forget how huge they really are.

Not really anything else going on. Ash gets to go to school all day this week. They are trying it out so that 1st grade wont be so shocking. Don't tell anyone, but I cried when she left this morning! :( She is usually here until 11 every day. I had to send her out the door at 7:45 this morning! :( Her mama can't handle her growing up.

It finally happened! We finally got a new range! The house we live in is old...very old. The range that we have had for the last 8 years is about 35 years old. It's an old JennAir. I am sure is was like the 'Jetson's' when new...but not 35 years later. LOL!! It was a giant hunk of poo! I only had 2 burners, and 1 only worked half of the time. The griddle coating was almost gone, & the grills just brought out the smells from inside. Yuck city!! Oh, and we didn't have a hood because JennAir stoves suck the air down. We just had a little light that we plugged in. It was just nasty! We finally got the money & got a new Kenmore! Thanks George Bush! It has a ceramic top, and that scares the bejeebers out of me....but I'll live. :D With the 4 burners, lighted hood, & an actual working oven light....I am in Jetson's heaven!! Seriously, I feel so very blessed! Here are my before & after shots. Big difference!! I even threw in a picture of the first cake I baked in my working oven! Let's just say I suck at cakes! LOLOLOL!!! I laughed so hard that my sides hurt. I just had to throw in a picture of it. Notice the melted frosting...that's what you get with a husband that has no patience. :D Enjoy!!

Ropes, Tree Hugging, & Dorky Dads

My kids have a rope that hangs from a tree in our front yard. It has knots all the way up. They climb it, swing from it, & Dylan even sword fights with it. It truly is the very best toy we have ever owned. It is consistently played with, and even fought over. Even Mr. Pickles used to grab on swinging, gripping for dear life. LOL! Dylan can climb it without using his legs/feet. I tell you, it is very impressive to watch. That kid has the strength of Hercules sometimes!! I snapped a couple of shots while lounging under the rope tree. I think they turned out nice. :)

Bentlee isn't into swinging on the rope yet. She has more fun hugging the tree it's tied too. LOL! Seriously...she is always hugging on this tree. I haven't quite figured out what is going on there. Such a silly girl! I can't believe she is almost 2. *sigh*

Now onto the 'Dorky Dad' thing. First, I need to take you back to the end of last summer. I had a day trip somewhere. I don't remember where exactly, but it really doesn't matter. The kids were going to spend the day at home with their dad. I am not sure what Dylan did (probably Nintendo), but when I got home I heard all about Ashley's big day. She had taken some river rocks and colored pictures on each one. Then she put them all in a bucket with a 'For Sale' sign. Five cents to be exact. LOL! Her and her dad sold them on the street corner. I think Ted, Dylan, & the neighbor man were the only customers. Anyway, she was so proud of herself for selling her first art pieces. Keep in mind, Ashley was born an artist and wants to do it forever. Now, this little story has come up a handful of times in the last year. Well, my husband races in the front door last week totally excited. Evidently the neighbor man found a picture he took of Ashley on the corner. Ted was so excited. He hands me the picture, and I just looked at it. Yes, it was cute. Yes, she was precious....BUT....oh my goodness!! Look at how her father dressed her to sell items to the public!! Seriously....look at that outfit! I am sure it is just a mom thing...but I just can't get over how truly dorky dads can be sometimes. LOL!! I hope she doesn't need therapy. No! I am kidding! Her daddy is amazing with her! He just has really, really, dorky fashion sense!

Garden Time!

Ted decided to make the kids a garden box at work. Ashley has really been into planting & growing things lately. He made it for both kids, but Dylan doesn't seem as thrilled as Ashley. LOL! Dylan was more thrilled with the painting & added the extra support boards. He is such a guy. LOL Ash & I went and got some vegetable plants this past weekend. We ended up with: tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, mini cucumbers, snow peas, bell peppers, jalapenos, chili peppers, onions, green onion, leeks, & shallots. It's going to be great! Ted & Ash finished all the planting this morning. I am so excited for all the veggies to come in! Hopefully Dylan will get into the gardening process more. It's really good for him to learn. My Grandma has always said that my mom was her 'Sunshine'. She said that you couldn't be sad or slow around her. Mom was a live-wire from day 1, and if she ever stopped & sat still she fell asleep. Well, that was hard to imagine as a kid. Now I understand completely. Ashley may look like me, but she is packing Peggy's battery!! LOL! The kids & I went to the park after school on Monday. We had a blast! I like to take the kids to the park in Spring. After the hot weather settles in, it sucks. LOL! I did manage to get some cute pics. Bentlee goes nuts for the slides! I have never heard a little girl giggle & squeal so much. My two do great with her too. They will make good babysitters. :) I love how the kids get 'static' hair when coming down the slide. It's such a crack up! LOL! I will be having lots of park pics over the next couple of weeks. Dinner & a movie. That's what I did Friday night! I had a blast! Addie & I went to Red Robin for chicken salads, and then headed off to see 'Baby Mama'. We laughed all night! We have both decided that we are going to make this a regular thing. No one laughs at my jokes like Addie! I swear my stomach muscles hurt by the time I get home! While we were at the movies, Addie spotted a photo booth. Of course we had to try it! People probably thought we were ridiculous from all the hysterical giggles! :D Here is the end result.....no laughing!! LOL!!

~New Internet & More~

Hello! I got hooked up to my new internet today! Woo! I had DSL, and I switched to a cable modem. Boy is it faster! LOL! We are shutting off our phone, and it was cheaper to go with Charter for the hookup. I am glad I did though. Why on earth is DSL 3 times more expensive when it is 3 times slower?? Makes no sense to me! LOL! I like that my new modem is wireless too. Now I can go anywhere in the house. I usually don't, but at least I have the option. :)

The sun is coming out, which makes me smile again. Bring on the hot! We need to seriously get busy on our pool. It's soooo disgusting right now. Yuck! Ashley asked me this morning if I thought there were fish in there. LOL! You know its bad when it looks like a pond! The kiddos have so much fun swimming, I can't wait. I really think that was the best money I have spent in a long time. They really love it, and think of all that exercise they get! I am pretty excited that Bentlee will be old enough to play this year. We need to start picking out her little suit! Awww!

Before I post my pics for today, I just wanted to say something. My family & I have been really blessed by the lord, and I just wanted to publicly be grateful for that. I feel it's important to let the world know about how God is there for you. When you are given blessings, it's important to share those. I want to thank God for both of my beautiful children who are both miracles in their own way. I have a body that wasn't meant to have children, and God saw to it that I had 2 healthy kids. I want to thank God that Ted & I both have great jobs in this time of recession. I want to thank God that I have an amazing marriage to an amazing man. Ask anyone who knew us 12-13 years ago....we may not have made it if not for him. I could go on and on, but basically I just want to thank God for loving me through good times & bad. I pray that each and every one of you reading this is blessed with a relationship with him. If not, then I pray that you will very soon. :)

Hmmphf! I am so tired of cold weather! It's the end of April! Where is our sunshine?? A couple of weeks ago the kiddos were playing in the sprinkler. Now, we have been getting snow!! What the heck?!? Cold weather can get really depressing. I get depressed by it anyway. I have been resorting to looking through my old photo/movie folders for last summer pics! LOL! I can't wait to get the pool going again! Woo! Just looking at the hot weather makes me smile! On a side note, I can't believe how much my kids have aged! They just seem to be growing up so fast. I miss them when they were babies. Older kids have their own awesome qualities, but sometimes you just want babies for a day. LOL! I have really been missing my dog too. Seeing all the pics of last summer with him make me sad. I hope wherever Mr. Pickles is, he is happy and taken care of. :( He really was a sweet dog. Some days I want to run and get another one so badly...and other days I realize the foolishness in that. I think I will just go visit Addie & Miles. He is such a sweet doggy too. His little smile makes me feel all warm and fuzzy. Yes...he does too smile! :)

I think that's about it for this morning. Oh wait! I got a Bluetooth! Woo! I am high tech now! LOL. I do love it. It's so nice to be 'hands free'. You do feel a little crazy though. Hello! I hope everyone is doing great & staying healthy. We have been feeling a LOT better! On Sunday we decided to make a trip to Newport. We didn't make it to the Aquarium though. We were able to hit the Ripley's Believe It or Not museum, Wax Works, & Undersea Gardens. It was sooo much fun! I didn't realise what big chickens my kids were though! LOL! It was quite amusing how much wax can freak a kid out. LOL! It was a great day. No one fought, no one whined, no arguing.....it was just happiness all around. We need more days like that. It feels good. I managed to get some pictures. I didn't get too many inside the museums. It was just so dark in there. It was hard to pick the best ones to show off. LOL! I had a good lot to choose from. I think I got the best though. :)

That's it for Newport! We really did have a great time, and I can't wait to go back! This weekend the kids and I have a date with Addie, Gabe, & the Wii! We are so excited! Well, Dylan finally cut all his blond hair off! I love it! He looks so much like his dad! I just can't believe how dark it was underneath. With the way Dylan's hair grows, it will be long again before summer. LOL! Here are some pics we took today. :)

Hello! I thought I would change up the layout a little bit. I needed a little Easter/Spring. I think it fits, don't you? What are your plans for Easter? We will probably go see my Grandma. The kids always have a great time with all the cousins. Let's face it....it wouldn't be a holiday without spending it at Grandma's. I want my kids to feel that too. I think we are finally getting well. I tell ya, this flu has been the pits! I hope we don't get it this bad next year...yuck! The kids are home for the next 10 days. Ahhhhh!!! Seriously. I wish I was making this crap up. I am still sick. Ted & the kids are better but not me. Waaahhh!! :( I have just about had it. All I want to do is sleep. I swear I could sleep all day. For those of you that know me well.....that's weird. I usually go on about 6 hours of sleep a day. Oh, & my eyes feel like someone has been jamming their thumbs in them. Real comfortable. I still can't smell or taste anything.....not even a tiny bit. My wonderful son keeps testing this theory by coming up behind me and farting. Yes, I am serious. Boys...it's a wonder they make it through childhood. LOL! If you couldn't tell....I am also kinda bitchy. LOL!!! :D Nah, I am not that bad....I don't think. I only have about 3 doses of medicine left...so lets hope I am well soon darn it! :P

Hi. I just wanted to make a post & say sorry. I know I haven't updated in a few weeks. Our house has been hit by this horrible flu that is going around. We have all gotten it. I love this sunshine!! Isn't it just invigorating?? I have been cleaning like a mad woman! LOL! My blinds are all open, front doors open, & it's great! Sunshine just makes you feel happy. I love the snow, but all winter I feel poopy. My appearance suffers. My housework suffers. It's just yuck! I can't wait until all the flowers start popping out! I will be a picture taking fool! :D

So....I have been working on this layout for awhile. I have tried to use layouts that other people make...but they are never quite right. I am too much of a picky ass. LOL! Well...do you ever get used to having boys? Do you ever get used to the stunts? Boys are soooo different than girls. They will eat ANYTHING once. They will do ANYTHING on a dare. Their minds think of things that girls would never ever ever think of. Sometimes when Dylan is doing these things, I look over at his dad. Ted's usual response is "What? I would do that." Doh!! No need to look far for the genes of craziness. LOL! I have a feeling that it has only just begun....and I have a whole lot of years of this left. :)

Here is a little video I shot yesterday. Trust me, it's super minor compared to the usual tricks. LOL! Just watch him. He is soooo happy & having a blast. We even get the standard "Look, no hands!". Watch until the end. It's sad. :(

We ended up with glasses all bent to heck, cut & bruise on the eye, bloody knees, & scuffed hands. I guess its all pretty standard stuff. I just don't think I will ever get used to it. :( I need to find out the brand of his glasses too. He has bent those at least 6 times. When I say bent...I mean reeeeeally out of whack too. They are pretty darn sturdy. I need to get that same kind next time. LOL! They need to make little boys glasses out of titanium. :D

Hi! I hope everyone has had a great week. We got some snow...and we loved it! The kids even got to miss school on Monday. I remember loving snow days too. LOL! We took the 4-wheeler to Ted's work on Sunday. That was fun....but suuuuuper cold. Brrrr!! That was colder than I have been in awhile. I managed to get a short little video. This is pretty much how we spent the afternoon. LOL! It starts out blurry, but clears up. :)

On Saturday we met Addie & Gabe at the new bowling alley in Roseburg. We had a blast! I can't wait to take Ted & my mom there. They will love it. :) All 3 of the kids were very good, & really enjoyed each other's company. Ash & Gabe played together a lot....and there was some competition going on with Addie & Dylan. There always is, it's so funny! He has been that way with her since he was just tiny! She will always be his Aunt Addie....even if he doesn't call her that! LOL! It is official....I stink at bowling! I came in last place!! Yes, the two 6 year olds beat me!! :( In all fairness, they had bumpers! :P After bowling, we went to Red Robin. I could live off of their chicken salads!! Yum! ;P I got some cute pics of the kiddos. I like one of Ash & Gabe holding hands. I didn't even realize they were doing that until I got home to upload the pics! Such little buddies! :)

One more thing! I have to show you my newest edition to my living room! I got this awesome frame from my friend Lex for Christmas. I finally got it filled tonight! I just love the way it turned out. I think I may need a pic of Ted smiling, but that will have to do for now. :) So, what do you think?

Another tooth, basketball, & a birthday!

She's done it again! Ashley lost her second tooth last night! She was so happy. :) She likes that she can stick her tongue out the front while her mouth is closed. LOL! I can't wait to see how excited she will be when the top 2 come out. :) Her is her updated picture, it's hard to tell because the permanent teeth were already growing in behind.

I don't know if I mentioned it, but Ash started basketball last Saturday. She has played since she was 3, & she loves it!! We go every Saturday for 6-8 weeks. I don't remember exactly. LOL. I just snapped a couple of cute pics. The first few practices are just drills. :)

Those of you that read Addie's Blog know that we had Ash's birthday party last Sunday. We went to the bowling alley. It was a blast! I think it was her best birthday yet! All the kids had so much fun. I just about bowled my pants off. LOL!! I was running 2 lanes, & helping most of the kids. Let's just say that there was some sweat by the end of the day. LOL! Bentlee even tried her hand at bowling. That was stinking cute! She was so into it!

I know....I know.....I stink! LOL! No excuses, I just didn't get to it. :D I do have lots to update though! It will be a looooong one! :) It has been a busy few weeks! It just seems like the holidays just flew by, huh? I have picked through some of the best pics to show you!

First up, Christmas! I just chose the cutest 2 pics of the kids & a pic of their loot from Santa. LOL! They got their digital cameras, and they LOVE them! They take pictures of everything. :)

Right after Christmas, Ash lost her first tooth! Woo hoo! She worked soooo hard at getting it out. She actually squealed & danced when it finally broke loose. LOL! The tooth fairy brought her $5. I don't remember getting that much! :D As you can see, the permanent tooth was already coming up behind it.

A couple of weekends ago, we headed up to the snow! Woo! We love to go play with the sleds. The kids & Ted had so much fun....they ended up breaking both the sleds! That is some hard sledding! LOL Here is just a couple of the cute ones of the day! Don't mind Ted & I...we were cold and tired! LOL!

I am all done with the changes! Well, for now anyways! LOL! Once I figure out how to keep my 'Archives' from being a drop down menu, I am going to fix it! :) I also don't like the bookmark thing that comes with each post. Hello! How is everyone? :) I have had a humdinger of a couple of days. My poor baby girl got the stomach flu. :( I have never seen her that sick. It was soooo sad & pathetic. She may have had food poisoning....I am still not sure. She is on the mend now, and that's what counts!!

Oh!! Guess what!! She FINALLY has a loose tooth!! Yay! She has waited soooo long for this. Gabe started loosing his at 4...and that's what started it. She has been so excited! I can't wait for it to come out! Kids are so darn cute with the little gaps in their mouths! Awww!!

Is everyone done Christmas shopping? I am almost done! Last weekend I went to Medford with my Mom on Saturday...and to Eugene with my friend Valorie on Sunday! It was a lot of fun. Oh my gosh...I almost forgot! On Saturday, at the Medford mall, I had my bag from Kohl's stolen! :( It had some things I picked up for Ash's birthday. I was soooo bummed out. I cried at the Kohl's counter! :( I refuse to let it bug me now though! I am just going to think that they probably needed it more than I did...like my donation to the Christmas cheer of sharing with others. :) That's what this season is about anyways! It's not about how much loot you can get....it's about celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ....and giving to others. So...I am focusing on that! :)

I haven't taken many pics in the last couple of weeks. Miss Bentlee decided that she wanted a pic like the other kids...so I did one! I even 'blued' her eyes! Oooo...Aaaaa!! LOL!! She is an easy model to work with. Look at her little pig tails! I did that for the first time that day! So cute!

I am also going to leave you with some videos from last year! I have been watching them because I miss the snow! :( I want to go sledding again! The first is Dylan's trip...then Ash....then Ted had to show them how it was done! LOL! Ted is much heavier than the kids....so he went all the way across the road! LOL!! We got our tree!! We always go to the same tree farm every year. They are good people, with good trees. :) Here are some pics of the kiddos at the tree farm. They had a lot of fun in the mud & rain. Hiya! Sorry for the delay in posting....the 'blog slacking' as some say. LOL! I have had a busy 2 weeks. It started with a toothache from hell on the Friday before last. That lasted 3 days until I went to the dentist. While I was at the dentist, my husband called to say that his dad had just been flown to Portland for heart surgery. Over the next 72 hours we put 1400-1500 miles on my car....back and forth from Portland to Grants Pass....and a root canal in the middle! We even slept in the car in a parking garage! Ahhhhh!! I was soooo tired! We both were. So...it has taken me a bit to get rested, and caught up to speed. I have done some major cleaning in the house, and I feel lots better! Tomorrow I have to go and get my 'post' put in so that in 2 weeks I can get a cap on my tooth. Yay. LOL!! Ted's dad is doing a LOT better. He is even home, and up walking around. He is as strong as an ox...his Dr said so! LOL! I have taken some random pics of the kiddos, I will post those in the morning! I will get them all ready tonight. I hope everyone has had a great couple of weeks! :)

Here are the kiddos on Halloween! We had a lot of fun! We went to the school carnival, and then down to Canyonville to trick or treat the businesses. The kids made out like bandits. :)

Here is Ashley. She wasn't feeling good, and running a fever. I think she looks so sad in this picture. She was super cute, but still so sad. :( She did have fun, but it would have been better had she been feeling well. Poor thing. Please excuse the sticky spots on the door. Ash makes art almost daily and tapes it to my door. It shows. LOL!!

Dylan's makeup was super fun to do! I used my fingers for the white, and a paintbrush for the black. It took about 30 minutes, but I think it was worth it! As much as I don't like the creepy stuff....it did turn out cool!! He was so impressed with his Mom!! :D

Here is Miss Bentlee! We ran over to her Grandma's house so we could see her and snap a few pics. Little booger would hardly hold still. LOL! She is sure a cute little ducky though. :)

Bronco...& girls!!

Well, we got the Bronco! Woo!! Ted is so excited. He needed something bigger. He used to have a Bronco, and has always said it was a big mistake to get rid of it. LOL! I get to go for my first ride in it tonight! Maybe I will get my buck. :) I think the kids are just as excited as their dad. It's pretty cute actually. I am just happy everything worked out. This is the 3rd one we went to buy.....and I am so glad we found it! We didn't get discouraged, just prayed and trusted God. Once again, he was looking out for us. :)

It's official. I am old. This past weekend I turned 30. :( I remember when my mom turned 30...I thought she was so ancient. LOL! It's funny, but I don't feel any older....just bummed about a number. I had a party this weekend. That was kinda funny. It was like I was having my 5th birthday at pizza! LOL!! It was fun though. I made a haul in gifts!! Wooo! Addie took some great pics, so when she sends them to me I will post them! :D

Ted had the last 9 days off from work. It's kinda weird having him home so much. I loved it, of course....it's just different. We have ran around so much. I am already missing him bad this morning. :( He gets next week off too though! Yaaaayyy!!! Hopefully I will have gotten my buck before he has to go back. LOL! OH, Ted is getting a Bronco! He will probably get it today....if everything goes right. LOL! He is pretty excited. He has driven the pants off of that old Ranger. Its time to move on! I am happy for him....he deserves it. :) As soon as we get it, I will take pics and post them!

I have a bunch of pics I have taken over the last couple of weeks too. I just haven't pulled them off of the camera yet. I am planning on doing that today. When I get them all organized, I will pull out the best ones and post! I am sure it will be a hodge podge of stuff. LOL!

I have had a poopy couple of weeks! Blech! All the kids have gotten sick...really sick. I was sick, Ted was sick.....we even checked Mr. Pickles! LOL! Dylan's homework is getting harder, making it harder on him & I. Oh, and I have been getting my headaches again. I have cut my computer time down to about a third of what it used to be. Looking at the screen just kills me. I feel like I am wearing my sunglasses all the time except when I am sleeping. It's getting ridiculous!! Ah well....I should be used to it. All the babies are better, so hopefully things are looking up! :) On a positive note....I got some new shampoo & a new blow dryer!!! Woooooo!! They are gnarly! Yes, I said gnarly. Shut up! My hair hasn't looked this good in years! I am working it! LOL!! So, even though my head feels like its going to explode....it looks darn good! :D

This is a cute one.....the kids were soooo excited that Ted started school. They had to pose with him on his first day. LOL!!

Here is the fam at the river....not a great pic, but its what I got. :D I took better ones of Mr. Pickles....he was so darn cute in the sand! He just loved it. He kept digging & digging. LOL!

Oh....almost forgot......Ted got his deer! LOL! Man, don't tell him I almost forgot. Men don't take that well. :D Once again, my kids tried to touch it's eye. Why do they do that?? Weirdos!! Now it's time for me to get mine! I am ready! I think, kinda, maybe. :D

Hiya Blog Stalkers!! No, I am not dead....just haven't been on the computer. My family thinks it's a miracle.....my blog readers get nervous. LOL!! We have been pretty busy the last week or so. We have had illnesses.....first colds.....now fevers & barfies. Yay, fun! We went to a UofO football game last Saturday. It was totally fun.....but the longest day in history!! Ahhh!!! To make a long story short......we spent about 6 hours in the car that day. Traffic hell....I am not kidding. Between freaky accidents on the freeway....to missed buses....to busy parking lots....it was one hum-dinger of a day! Thank God I had a freak idea to buy the kids some head-rest DVD players that morning!! Phew!! Can you imagine them sitting in a car for 6 hours.....unplanned & unprepared for?? No thank you!! LOL!!

It's official......I am the worst blogger ever! :( I am really sorry. I have just had so much going on the last 2 weeks. It just seems that it piles up! Ack!! I haven't even really been on my computer....which is very odd for me! LOL!! I did have a chance to peek at Addie's blog and wanted to make us some M&Ms!! :D I think we turned out cute. It really looks like us! LOL!!

OH!!! I got a new car last night!! Woo hoo!! It's a Honda Accord! I love it! :) I am getting rims today & my windows done tomorrow. After that, I will post pics! :D I have to say....it's quite different driving the car when I am used to my Jeep. LOL! It has SOOOO much room. I won't know what to do with all that space! LOL!

Oh, Jenn......on 9/11 I was still in bed & my phone rang. It was my dad. He said to turn on CNN that a plane had crashed into the tower. Ted & I ran and turned it on. It was right after it happened and the news people were still calling it an accident. Then we watched the second plane hit.....live. It was very scary and creepy. We sat there all day and watched the news. It was such a horrible feeling deep in the pit of your stomach. I will never forget that day. I thought the world as we knew it was forever going to be changed. :(

New kids!!!

It's that time of year again.....I have new kids! :D At the end of each summer, my kids usually get their hair done. They like to start nice and fresh for school. :) Dylan needed to get his roots done....and Ash wanted a whole new look!! Ahh!! LOL!!

Here is Ashley after!! Ahhhh!!! She looks 7 years old!! :( No, it's very cute. She got it all whacked off...and now I have to straighten it every morning. LOL! She can go curly...but she doesn't want too. :D

That's about it for today. Ashley is doing much better in school now. She made a friend...and that made all the difference in the world. No more tears....Yay!!! :) Have a great and SAFE Labor Day Weekend!!!! :)
